Best Book Cafes in Pune

Book cafes are the perfect escape on a low day as they never fail to disappoint. Curling up with a book and a hot cup of coffee and spend hours reading is extremely relaxing and therapeutic. I won’t lie; it is one of my favorite things to do.

Located in Shivajinagar and is set in a large, spacious area. The location is one of the best parts of this place, as it is pretty easily accessible. The interiors of this café are fresh and quirky. The books available in this café are vast and offer almost every genre; you are sure to find something you will love once you dive into it. They also offer you kindles if you please one, and you’re not likely to find that anywhere else. The menu here is amazing, and the food is scrumptious. There is no way you won’t love this place!

 

This café is tucked away right next to Vaishali and the bustling buzz that FC road is. You will find a lot of students & bookworms in this café. The collection of books they offer is quite vast and the interiors look very cozy and homey. It is clad with chairs, couches, and cushions along with bean bags. Doesn’t that sound like a place you would love to just curl up in and read for hours? Their book collection is bigger & better than most cafes in the city. It is also quite affordable, and if you want to explore a new place, this should be it.

 

 

 

 

 

The Munching Route – Book Café, located in Baner, is one of my favorite cafes in Pune, mostly because the books in this place are from the owner’s personal collection and choice. This just adds to the vibes and connection to the place and feels even cozier. The books are super entertaining and interesting. Although it seems a little more formal than most other cafes because of its seating arrangement, you will still feel quite at home with a cup of coffee and a nice book. The food and beverages are quite popular here, and my personal favorites are the Mumbai Chicken Pizza and the Hot Chocolate.

 

 

 

 

 

Waari Café is one of the most popular cafes in Pune. Located on Karve Road, Kothrud, it is easily accessible and is one of the reasons it is so popular. The ambience here is the coziest of all, while the seating includes couches, chairs, and bean bags. The walls are lined with bookshelves, in which lie books of all genres. There are books in English, Marathi, and Hindi. The food is absolutely delicious and the café always smells like freshly baked goods. This, like most other places, is affordable and doesn’t burn a hole in the pocket. So, if you still haven’t checked out this cozy café, you most definitely should!
