Many people say that girls should not go out at night or they should not wear short clothes or they should not talk to boys, and many more. But! Geeta, Babita and Vinesh are gold medalists in commonwealth games.
Saina Nehwal - is a female badminton player in India who won the Gold Medal in Girls Singles event in World Junior Championship and also in the Commonwealth Youth Games and also won a Gold Medal in Chinese Taipei Grand Prix Gold in the Women’s Singles event in 2008 and the list is very big. She won the Padma Shri and Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna which is the highest sports honour in India till date and also was awarded by Padma Bhushan in 2016. She is an inspiration to many girls in India who have an interest in sports.
Mary Kom -Mangte Chungneijang Mary Kom is an Indian boxer is the first Indian woman to win a Gold medal at the Asian Games in 2014 and the Commonwealth Games in 2018. She is an inspiration to all the woman out their who want to continue their career after having a child and also to all the girls who are choosing boxing as their career.
