Director Imtiaz Ali is all set to release his film Love Aaj Kal this Valentine’s Day. The trailer was recently released and gained both positive and negative responses. He had also directed the original film starring Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan in 2009. The audience will see Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aryan in lead roles in the new version. People are going crazy about the chemistry between Sara and Kartik as seen in the trailer.

Maddock Films shared the trailer on Twitter and wrote “1990 se lekar 2020 tak, pyaar same hai, bas andaaz alag hai.” Sara Ali Khan plays Zoie, a career-driven girl who tries to balance between career and her relationship. Her dialogue in the trailer “Tum mujhe tang karne lage ho" was subjected to a lot of memes that started flowing through the internet just a few minutes after the trailer was released. 



Kartik Aryan plays Veer. The film is a mix of flashbacks from 1990 and the present which made it look a bit confusing. Love Aaj Kal also features Randeep Hooda and Arushi Sharma. As much as the audience loved Kartik and Sara’s chemistry, the storyline was criticized. The trailer seemed to have no foundation and plot and was quite a disappointment. We hope that the film is much more than what it looked like in the trailer.
