Varanasi: 2 Killed as Gas Cylinder Explodes

According to police, a police team reached the spot and rushed all 6 victims to Trauma Centre, BHU. Doctors declared balloon seller Lalla Seth (30) and Geeta Devi brought dead.
 
A balloon seller was selling balloons in front of Sujabad Bahadurpur intersection. Suddenly, his gas cylinder exploded, said the police. The pieces of it hit many individuals including Geeta Devi (45), Kallu (32), Alia (5), Bablu (30) & Naveen Kumar (19).
 
The police officers reached the spot and rushed all six of the victims to the Trauma Centre, BHU, said the police officer. As soon as they reached the centre, the doctors declared the balloon seller Lalla Seth (30) and Geeta Devi brought dead. The 4 injured individuals are under treatment at the Trauma Centre, the officer said.
 
Amit Kumar who is the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Kashi Zone, paid a visit to the Trauma Centre and enquired about the condition of the injured.
 
Kumar said in a statement that the four injured included Kallu (32), Alia (5), Bablu (30) and Naveen Kumar (19). Their condition is currently believed to be stable.
