The World Now Has a Museum of Happiness!

  Usually, visiting places like a museum can seem to be too scholarly or educational and the experience isn’t usually associated with the word ‘Fun’, unless you are a history and art geek of course. 
But do you know, that for people who could just use a little bit of boost of positivity in their lives, Denmark introduces to the world, the first ‘Museum of Happiness’ in its capital, Copenhagen.

   Denmark is known as one of the happiest countries in the world it has a high level of equality and a strong sense of common responsibility for social welfare. So it seems only fitting that they have decided to share their secret to happiness in such a unique way.
It is founded by the Happiness Research Institute situated in Copenhagen and according to them, this museum is ‘A small museum about the big things in life.’

The leader of the Happiness Research Institute, Meik Wiking writes about the museum's mission: “Our hope is guests will leave a little wiser, a little happier and a little more motivated to make the world a better place.”
Some Cool things that we will get to experience at this exclusive museum-
1. Interactive Experiences-
 
Some exhibits will have interactive thought provoking questions like “If you could live in a Matrix-esque world of artificial pleasantness, would you do so? Can you and would you buy happiness? And would you actually return a lost wallet you found on the floor?”
2. Post It Notes-
 
The museum will have a section where old visitors can write their experience or thoughts on a post it notes and paste it on a wall for everyone to read.

3. Smiling Mona Lisa
 
To make the visitors understand the importance of thinking and perspective, one section will use a mirror to find out which section of Mona Lisa’s face is actually smiling. Cool right?

4. Finding Happiness in All Sectors
 
Along with other interactive sections, this museum will have 8 main sections which will cover happiness from topics like Science, Geography, Politics, The Anatomy of a Smile, Nordic Happiness, History and the Future of Happiness. These rooms including everything right from emotionally intelligent AI, to a map of the world showcasing the ranks given to countries based on their happiness. 
To conclude the overall setting of this quirky museum, the CEO of the Happiness Research Institute said, “Our hope is guests will leave a little wiser, a little happier, and a little more motivated to make the world a better place.”
