Easy Paneer Recipes To Try At Home

Paneer is that one food item that is an absolute favourite of everyone. It has a huge fan base of all generations in India. In every course of an Indian meal, be it breakfast, lunch, or dinner, paneer has its special appearance in every meal. Every Indian restaurant has a separate section for paneer and its dishes.
  
In this pandemic, the cases of corona are rapidly increasing day by day. It is very important to stay away from public places as much as possible. Many people are avoiding to go to restaurants in this pandemic situation. So here are some of the recipes that can be made by paneer which you can try at home and will taste the same as you eat in restaurants -
1. Paneer Popcorn -

This recipe is extremely simple as compared to its fancy name. Also, this recipe is inspired by chicken popcorn but is very easy than its recipe.
Ingredients required -
 
⦁ 10 Paneer Cubes
⦁ ¼ tsp turmeric powder
⦁ ½ tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
⦁ 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
⦁ ½ tsp pepper, crushed
⦁ ½ tsp mixed herbs/oregano
⦁ salt to taste
⦁ ¼ cup of corn flour
⦁ ¼ tsp pepper, crushed
⦁ 1 cup breadcrumbs
⦁ ¼ tsp salt
⦁ ½ cup of water
⦁ oil for deep frying
 
Preparation -
  
⦁ Take the paneer and cut in into equal cubes and add it to a bowl
 
⦁ Take the bowl of paneer, add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, chili powder, black pepper, mixed herbs, and salt. Mix everything well and make sure that the paneer is coated with the species.
 
⦁ Now prepare a corn flour paste by adding water, pepper, salt, and corn flour.
 
⦁ Add ¼ cup of water into the bowl and prepare a lump-free batter.
 
⦁ Then, roll it into breadcrumbs coating the sides. And double coat it.
 
⦁ Deep fry it in hot oil
 
⦁ Keep the flame on medium and stir fry in medium flame till the cubes turn golden brown.
 
⦁ Finally, serve paneer popcorn with tomato sauce or red chutney,
2. Paneer Bhurji -

is that one recipe which you can have as a snack as well as the main course. Here is the easiest recipe for paneer bhurji.

Ingredients-
 
⦁ 2 tbsp oil
 
⦁ 1 tsp cumin seeds
 
⦁ 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
  
⦁ salt to taste
 
⦁ 1 green chili, finely chopped
 
⦁ 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
 
⦁ ½ tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
 
⦁ 1 medium-sized tomato, finely chopped
 
⦁ ¼ tsp turmeric
 
⦁ ½ tsp garam masala powder
 
⦁ 2 cup paneer crumbled
 
⦁ 1 tsp Kasuri methi, crushed
 
⦁ 2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped

Preparation -
 
⦁ Take a large kadhai, heat oil, and add some cumin seeds till they turn brown in color.
 
⦁ Add onions, green chili, and ginger-garlic paste. Sauté it well till the onions turns golden brown.
 
⦁ Then add tomatoes and saute till it turns brown and mushy.
 
⦁ Further, add red chili powder. Turmeric powder, garam masala, and some salt to taste.
 
⦁ Roast all the spices for a minute.
 
⦁ Add the crumbled paneer and mix it gently ( without mashing the paneer)
 
⦁ Do not overcook the paneer. Add some Kasuri methi and coriander leaves to it.
 
⦁ Mix it gently so that everything is combined well.
 
⦁ Finally serve the bhurji with paratha or chapati.
3. Panner paratha -

Paratha is one of the famous and most loved dishes for breakfast. And when there is a combination of paneer with paratha, then it is surely will be the best recipe. here is the recipe for paneer paratha-
Ingredients -
 
⦁ 2 cups crumbled paneer
 
⦁ ½ tsp Kashmiri chili powder
 
⦁ ¼ tsp garam masala
 
⦁ salt to taste
 
⦁ 1 pinch ginger, grated
 
⦁ Coriander leaves, finely chopped
 
⦁ ½ tsp amchur powder
 
⦁ 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp oil or ghee
⦁ water as required for kneading
 
⦁ ¼ cup wheat flour for dusting
 
⦁ ghee or oil as required
Preparation -
 
⦁ Take a large bowl, into it take wheat flour, and add some salt. Then add some water and knead the dough for 7-8 minutes.
 
⦁ Grease the dough with oil and keep it aside for 20 minutes.
 
⦁ Mix all the dry ingredients such as Kashmiri powder, garam masala , amchur powder, ginger, some coriander leaves, and some salt to taste.
 
⦁ Add the crumbled paneer to it and mix it well.
 
⦁ Further, take a paratha roll, place the prepared stuffing in the centre.
 
⦁ Make a roll out of it , and then press it in the centre.
 
⦁ Sprinkle some flour and roll into a round shape.
 
⦁ Place the rolled paratha on a hot pan and let it cook on both sides.
 
⦁ Then add oil on both sides of the paratha and press it.
 
⦁ Serve the hot parthas with tomato ketchup, pickle or raita.
