Many of us are in a rush in the mornings, and while running late, the breakfast may get skipped a lot, which isn’t very good for us. Starting the day off with eggs with not only give you energy but keep you satiated for a longer time, and making it in a mug will only save you loads of time. What you will need to make this delicious omelet in a mug is an egg, ½ cup of spinach, a few slices of tomato, 1/3 cup shredded cheese of your choice, 1/3 cup milk, salt and pepper to taste.

Preparation – Firstly, microwave the spinach with water for a minute, just so that it will get cooked. Then, drain this water from the mug. Crack the egg open in the mug, along with the cheese, tomato and milk. Mix well. Cook this in the microwave for around 2 minutes. Cook it more if not thoroughly cooked. Top it off with salt and pepper. Enjoy hot!

I cannot imagine a snack more perfect than this one. Pizza is a weakness for everyone, and to make it personalized in your favorite mug in just one minute seems like a dream to me. So here’s what you will need to make a mug pizza – 8 table spoons of all purpose flour, 1/2 tea spoon of baking soda, salt to taste, 5-6 table spoons of milk, 2 table spoon of oil, ½ of pizza sauce, 6 table spoons of the shredded cheese of your choice, a few slices of jalapenos / olives, or any topping of your choice and mixed herbs.

Preparation – combine the dry ingredients in a mug and mix well. Make sure the mug is microwave safe. Then, pour in the milk and oil in it. Then the pizza sauce will go on top of this mixture, make sure to spread it out evenly, just like on an actual pizza, and then sprinkle your cheese shreds on top of the sauce. Place your toppings on top of the cheese. Now, microwave this for roughly 1-2 minutes until your pizza looks cooked. Then sprinkle or herbs on top of this and enjoy!

Cheesecake in a mug:

I had never imagined one could make a cheesecake in a mug but then I did and it was one of the most incredible, easy, indulgent desserts I ever had. One just cannot turn down a cheesecake at any given point in time. To make a simple cheesecake in a mug, you will need 4 table spoons of soft cream cheese, 2 table spoons of yogurt, 1 table spoon of flour, and 2 table spoons of caster sugar, 4 table spoons of crushes biscuits of your choice, and 2 table spoons of melted butter.

Preparation: mix the crushed biscuits and butter together and place it at the bottom of your mug. In a separate bowl, mix in the cream cheese, yogurt, flour and sugar. Mix well. Then add this on top of the biscuits. Microwave this for about 45 seconds to a minute. Serve warm, or refrigerate and serve chilled and topped with your favorite berries!
These were some of my all time favorite meals to make in a mug. These are really easy to whip up, require just a few ingredients and not more than 5-6 minutes to make. If you liked these, do try them out, and let us know how they turned out for you!
